An Easter Basket and Some Eggs "For You"

Hello Everyone!
Happy Wednesday! The week is half over and I am excited since I will see my daughter this weekend...only a few more days.

Today is my day to post at Eyelet Outlet and Brads. Before I share my design team project,  I want to let you know that there is a Daily Deal where you can get a product each day at a discounted price. Be sure to check it out!

Here is my Design Team project...
I sure have been on a roll lately making treat bags, so when I saw this scalloped top tie bag by Lori Whitlock at the Silhouette On-line store I couldn't resist. I then found this Easter basket and adjusted the size to fit the front.

My goal was to add these Easter egg brads by Eyelet Outlet and Brads and it worked! They are perfect in pastel colors. A mini tag to let the recipient know "For You".

I used the following products from Eyelet Outlet and Brads shop.

  5. This is so pretty! I love the inking on your basket, and the lilac ribbon is such a lovely touch! Love those brad eggs too!!

Thanks for your comment on my blog. I used Ranger Texture Paste and it is very smooth. It mixes with ink really well too. I just smooshed a bit of distress ink onto my mat, added the paste and mixed with my palette knife. I do recommend the palette knife as that helps spread the paste quite nicely over a stencil. It really is incredibly easy! It dries fairly quickly too, but not so fast that there's not enough time to spread out the paste. I learned the first time that I needed far less paste than I thought I would so your can use it quite sparingly. Hope that helps!
