Red, White, and Blue with Flair

Hello Everyone!

Welcome back and thanks for stopping by! Today is my day to share at 3 Girl JAM

Here is my Design Team project...
A couple of cards with a washi tape background inspired by Stacey.

The crinkle ribbon is from the Red, White, & Blue Bundle and a flair was glued to the center. The stamp is by Hampton Art.

A second one with different washi tape and a stamp from the same set. I actually did the doodling around the rectangle. I am pleased with the results considering it was the first time using it as part of the focal point.

A felt butterfly and a trail of black gems.
Other Materials:
white, black, and silver card stock
Blue glitter card stock
Martha Stewart ebony pen
Versafine Onyx Black ink

Frog and Tongue

Hello Everyone,

Welcome to Carson's Creations and thanks for stopping by today! I sure hope this creations makes you smile because I am still giggling! My husband and daughter think I have a bit of a weird sense of humor.

This frog was a freebie and I when I saw it posted I knew I had to cut it. Then I was going through some of my stamps and found one that seemed to be be made just for it!

I added a ladybug brad (trying to use my stash and I had no flies) by Eyelet Outlet and Brads. I always buy them when I go to a scrapbook expo, but then hardly use them. Vicious cycle with hoarding supplies! In the other corners...a couple Skittles by Carri.

The silly frog (Little Scraps of Heaven) is mounted on pop dots for dimension.

The sentiment is by Jaded Blossom...Miscellaneous Fun set. Don't you agree that this sentiment matches the frog perfectly? Not sure who is getting this card, but it sure is fun!
Other Materials:
My Mind's Eye pattern paper (background)
American Crafts polka dot paper ~ Amy Tangerine
black, white, and red card stock
VersaMagic ink ~ Tea Leaves
Versafine Onyx Black ink

Hope you have a great day!

Hello Everyone!

The weekend flew by, but I was able to get a couple cards finished, which always pleases me. I wanted to enter the Scrappy Moms challenge ~ Spring is in the Air, so I made this cutie. I am thinking she is perfect! Plus, I wanted to use some of my brads I have been hoarding. You really can have too many!

The Spring chick is from Miss Kate Cuttables. I used my Cameo to cut her out. I just added the polka dot bow.

I used the new stamp set from April's Release.

Smile...It's Friday!

Hello Everyone!
Welcome back to Carson's Creations and thanks for stopping by!

I am extremely glad it is Friday! It has been a week...testing, drama, papers, etc. The thought of a weekend puts a smile on my face! Don't get me wrong...I LOVE to teach, but some of the other "stuff" is not a favorite. Just let me teach!

I thought this card might put a smile on your face...just like it did for me!

I used the Miss Kate Cuttables pretty sun. I selected a few shades of yellow card stock, inked some of the edges, and used foam dots for dimension.

The sentiment stamped on the cloud is from Scrappy Moms newest release.

Hope you have a fabulous Friday and a wonderful weekend!

Celebrate Administrative Professionals Day

Hello Everyone!
Welcome Back to Carson' s Creations...thanks for stopping by!

Yesterday on my way home from school my hubby called me and asked if I had time to make him two cards for his secretaries. He said he was on the way to the store to buy gift cards and he would buy cards if I was too busy. I told him I had something I needed to do and maybe I would have time. He said he would just buy two cards...YES...that is what he actually said! My body cringed at the sound of that, so...I told him I had another idea.

I used the seed packet file from the night before...the gift card fit in each one perfectly! Gotta' love when one project file has multiple purposes.
NO store bought cards here!

I used Word (Lucinda Calligraphy) to create the sentiment for the tag (Spellbinders ~ Label Eleven). More 3 Girl JAM ribbon and Miss Kate Cuttables flower.

Here is the free SVG file again.

I made a few more in different colors, but changed the tag sentiment. Easy Peasy!
Other Material:
card stock from scrapbox
twine
buttons
gems/pearls
Versafine Onyx Black ink

Hope you have a great night! Let me know what you think and please share what you are currently working on. Soon I am going to be experimenting with watercolors and stamping. Also, I am curious to know what are some of your favorite on-line stores. I am a bit disappointed with Michaels, Joann, and Hobby Lobby...I need some NEW choices!

Easy to cut and assemble!

This is new crinkle ribbon coming soon to the 3 Girl JAM store. I just love the color! I topped it with a twine bow and green button. A Spellbinder tag was stamped with a Jaded Blossom stamp (from the Miscellaneous Fun set) in Versa Magic Tea Leaves ink.
Other Materials:
pink, green, cream, and kraft card stock
polka dot paper ~ DCWV Playtime stack
pink gems

What's Up?

Hello Crafty Friends,

Just sharing a quick card that goes along with this past week's Die Cuttin' Diva challenge...Zoo Awareness. I originally posted an elephant, but had cut this giraffe with my Cameo too. I finally put all the pieces together and found a saying that I liked. My hubby asked why I chose this one...I had to explain because of his long neck. I think he was giving me a hard time because then he said "that was a stretch". I told him he made a punny too.

This giraffe is part of the Cutesy Zoo Animal set from KaDoodle Bug Designs. It is still 90% off if you are interested!

The sentiment is computer generated, but I did find a giraffe stamp set for future reference from MFP Stamp Shop.
Other Materials:
goldenrod, rust, brown, tan, and black card stock
pattern paper from scrap box
tan ribbon ~ Michaels

Hope you will come back tomorrow for the new Die Cuttin' Diva challenge.

Georgiana

Feeling Square? It's Hip!

Hello Crafty Friends,

Thanks for stopping by today! I have been busy the last month (to two months) with school (the demands are on-going) and I can't tell you how much I am looking forward to summer vacation. I miss chatting with my crafty friends, stopping by everyday and seeing what you create, and learning from you! Soon! We still have two weeks of standardized testing and then only 4 weeks. Then...I will be back in full swing! Yippee!

Today I have a card that continues from my March's Guest Designer spot with Scrappy Moms Stamps. I made a few projects, but had more ideas and then the month was over. So...I am still sharing!

When I saw this sentiment I knew I had to use one of these squaredy cats from SVG Cutting Files. There are so many to choose from...you could make a dozen easily. I used Princess Leia, which I received from a Star Wars blog hop.

I used foam dots for her buns to add dimension.

A close-up of the fun sentiment from the Sassy Pants set.
Other Materials:
brown, cream, tan, black, and pink card stock
My Mind's Eye pattern paper ~ Lost & Found stack
brown crinkle ribbon
brown square embellishments
Versafine Onyx Black ink

Challenges:

Remember it is not too late to get March's Release. You can use them ALL year!

Happy Easter

Hello Crafty Friends,

A quick post to say "Happy Easter" to you! I have been away for a week...went on a cruise to the Eastern Caribbean for Spring Break. What a great trip it was! I shared a few pictures on my FB page, but have plenty more. I plan on stopping by during the next couple of days to see what you have been creating while I was gone.

Here is a little Easter treat I made before leaving. I saw all these cute EOS projects and had to try one too. I think it is darling, but I do not like that it does not stand on its own and you have to unwrap the lip gloss container to fit on both sides of the paper.
Other Materials:
lip balm bunny svg file by Lori Whitlock
tan, pink, white, and black card stock
brown and pink ink

Hope you have a fabulous week!

Hello Crafty Friends,

Welcome back and thanks for stopping by. Hard to believe but Spring Break is almost over! Where does the time go? Why does it go by so quickly? I have enjoyed Spring Break and now I am looking forward to the next long weekend. : )

Today I would like to share a nerdy bunny from Miss Kate Cuttables. Don't you just love these glasses! I think they make my bunny look super smart.
I used K&Company papers and found various shades of blue that coordinated. The pennants were handcut and the tiny tag is from My Craft Spot. The Bunny Kisses stamp is from the Bunny Poop Revamped set at Jaded Blossom.
Other Materials:
white, grey, and brown card stock
Ranger Archival ink ~ potting soil
green ribbon
blue gems

Birthday "Fishes" to You

Hello Crafty Friends,

Welcome back for another Scrappy Moms Guest Designer creation using March's Stamp Release! Can you tell I am loving these stamps?!?!

The school secretary asked me to make our principal a birthday card with a fishing theme. This is his last year and he will be retiring at the end of May. I thought this playful Papa bear (Silhouette On-line Store) would remind him of the kids he has helped over the years.

Another perfect sentiment from the Zodiac Cuties set.

I cut two tiny blue dragonflies and propped their wings to make them appear as if they were flying. All the cuts were adhered with foam squares to add dimension.
Other Materials:
black, brown, blue, and white card stock
pattern paper from scrap box
brown ink
Versafine Onyx Black ink

Be sure to get your stamp set today!
